Superkarts Display At Clipsal 500

The Adelaide Superkart Club was part of the CAMS display at the Adelaide CLIPSAL 500 which was attended by just under 277,000 spectators, many of whom had to pass by the display because of its very prominent location trackside.

The display generated a lot of interest with everyone impressed with the performance specs for the 250 Internationals and the ROTAX Max's on display.

There were a number of serious enquiries and it is likely that the club will see some new racers in the near future.

The display was part of the club's more active promotions campaign planned for 2007 to increase the profile of Superkarting and to increase the club's membership.

First Practice Day for 2007
20 Superkarters took the opportunity to get ready for the 2007 season at the first practice day at Mallala on 3 February.  It turned out to be a hot day with temperatures in the garages at around 41 C.  With this many coming out for practice on such a hot day it may be a good year for the club.
